The Kobalt Tools 500 is a Sprint Cup Series NASCAR race that will take place at Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 8, 2009. Atlanta Motor Speedway is considered one of the most fan-friendly raceways on the Sprint Cup circuit. There is a lot of free parking at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, and the only paid parking is not on the property of Atlanta Motor Speedway. Fans are allowed to bring coolers up a to a specific size.
Jeff Gordon will be looking to return to his winning ways while Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch will be working to keep up a strong start to the NASCAR season. With a few races in the books, by the time teams race in Atlanta they hope to hitting a groove.
