The SEC Basketball Tournament is a single elimination college basketball tournament that decides the recipient of the conference’s automatic NCAA tournament bid. All of the schools of the Southeastern Conference participate in the SEC basketball tournament. Seeding for the tournament is based on the conference regular season records.

The SEC Tournament is held at different locations, and this year the tournament will be played in Tampa, Florida at the St. Pete Times Forum.
